I’m Teddy Davis, a Shooting Assistant Producer based in London with a passion for documentary, current affairs, and creative development. Over the years, I’ve filmed stories across the UK, US, Australia, and Europe. My credits include work for ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 on projects spanning current affairs, royal programming, and factual entertainment.
I spent two years honing my craft in the ITV newsroom, which gave me a strong foundation in fast-paced news. More recently, I played a key role in high-profile political documentaries like “Keir Starmer: Up Close,” “Rishi Sunak: The Leaders Interview,” and “Trump: The Return?”. I’ve also contributed to investigative projects such as “Tabloids on Trial.”
I’m driven by a love of news, politics, history, and modern affairs — it’s the common thread through all my storytelling, whether I’m out in the field shooting a documentary or brainstorming a new writing project. I believe understanding our world, past and present, is key to telling authentic, impactful stories.
I’m also deeply curious about nature, archaeology, and the untold stories of our past. I also am an avid scriptwriter and hope to one day also branch into scripted television as wel — I have a soft spot for science fiction, folk horror and historical stories. No matter the medium, I approach every project with earnest enthusiasm and a sharp eye for detail. I’m always excited for the next story to tell and the next challenge to tackle.
